Keep this short, extraordinary chapter
Pregnancy is a short, extraordinary chapter, and maternity photography is about keeping it. A good session is calm and flattering, celebrating the bump without ever feeling awkward or overposed.
Immortal Photography shoots maternity portraits in Cambridge and across the UK, in studio or on location. We direct everything gently, keep you comfortable throughout, and deliver a soft, beautifully retouched gallery you will want to revisit for years.
We are a Cambridge maternity photographer covering Cambridgeshire and the towns nearby, including Ely, Newmarket, St Ives and Huntingdon. If you have searched for a maternity photoshoot near you, we shoot in a warm studio or outdoors at golden hour, partners and older children welcome, and time the session so the bump looks its most beautiful.

FAQs
Maternity Photography questions, answered
- When is the best time for a maternity shoot?
- Usually between about 28 and 36 weeks, when the bump is beautifully round but you are still comfortable. If you are expecting twins or want to shoot earlier, just let us know and we will plan around you.
- What should I wear?
- Fitted pieces that show the bump work well, along with flowing fabrics for movement. We are happy to advise, and many clients bring a couple of options. Comfort comes first.
- Can my partner and children join?
- Absolutely. Maternity sessions often include partners and older siblings, and those are some of the warmest frames. There is no extra charge for including close family.
- Studio or on location?
- Both work beautifully. Studio gives soft, controlled light, while outdoor locations add a natural, golden feel. We will recommend the best option for the look you want.
- How much does a maternity shoot cost?
- Most UK maternity sessions fall between roughly £150 and £400 depending on time, location and the number of edited images. Tell us what you have in mind for a quote.
- How do I book?
- Send a message through the contact page or call +44 7415 175383. We reply within one working day.
